County exploring all options
Newport County AFC is exploring the opportunity of 'dome-style' pitch covers prior to the AFC Wimbledon game next Tuesday subject to availability from suppliers.A request was made to AFC Wimbledon to 'switch' the fixtures between the two clubs with Newport County AFC offering to travel to Kingsmeadow next Tuesday and the return match being played at Rodney Parade over Easter. However, despite AFC Wimbledon expressing sympathy at our plight, the decision was to leave the games on their current dates and venues.
