Following this morning’s announcement of the appointment of Michael Flynn as Caretaker Manager, the Club can now confirm that Wayne Hatswell will be joining the Club to assist him in the role until the end of the season. The former County defender has most recently been managing Gillingham’s Youth Team, but has previously worked at Newport County AFC as a First Team Coach (2012-13) and as the Assistant Manager (2014-15).
Wayne helped lead this morning’s training session and will travel with the team to Crewe Alexandra to join Flynn in the dugout at Gresty Road.
